Finnmark County Library therefor decided to establish a more small-scale service, mainly concentrated on promoting literature in Kven lan­ guage and literature about Kven/Norwegian Finn culture and history. The service is organized quite simply as a blog with reviews of new and older books, short bi­ ographies of authors, information about research publications, links to archival and photographic collections, and a calendar aimed to covering the Kven/Norwegian Finn cultural arena. Besides this, we intend to cover literary edi­ tions from the Swedish Torne Valley as well, as Meankieli and Kven language are closely related and mutually understood. Four times a year the reviews are col­ lected in a newsletter distributed to a growing number of subscribers, libraries as well as individuals. Finnmark County Library is responsible for all content, and it is of great importance to us to have a bilingual site with parallel text in Norwegian and Kven.
